The Early Music Man can add a great deal to the ambiance and atmosphere of Heritage Sites by performing music of the time on authentic instruments. The Early Music Man can giving a rolling programme of about an hour in which he demonstrates all the instruments and talks about the place of music in the society of the time. He encourages the audience to join in either by playing some of the instruments, singing or dancing. He can also act as a Wandering Minstrel with his huge repertoire of music for each instrument - all played from memory.

The Early Music Man has proved very popular at such places as Little Moreton Hall, Chatsworth House, Ford Green Hall, Ancient High House (Stafford), Coventry Guildhall, St Nicolas Place, Baddesley Clinton, Coughton Court, Charlecote Park, Greyfriars Worcester and  Cowdray House in West Sussex.

If you would like The Early Music Man to perform at your Heritage Site please go to the Contact page.

"I would just like to say what a wonderful time myself, my partner and our four children had on Monday 20th Aug at St Mary's Guildhall ........ the Music was great and the dancing fun, and it was lovely to see all the different instruments ..... we have never had the opportunity to see these before and would not know where to go to see them either.... Thank you."

"......... The music and dance was another big success and we will be asking Terry Carter to come back in the future to entertain us."
